RON MILLER

Founder, Director

You might wonder how someone with a Biology major and a BA in Secondary Education ends up founding a non-profit like Timothy’s Gift  – until you start a conversation about his compassionate upbringing, with a mother who brought conversation (and cobbler!) to anyone in need of either.

Skilled in strategic planning, opportunity identification and networking, Ron has worked as a talent agent and church administrator for over 30 years, during which he visited all 50 states and many foreign countries.  Along the way, he was blessed to meet long-time gospel great, John Starnes, who accompanied him on his earliest forays into what became “Timothy’s Gift.”

Recently "retired" from his responsibilities in church administration, Ron now serves Timothy’s Gift full-time, works with those experiencing homelessness, and cares for his adoptive pup, Cooper!   (And yes, he's still making those cobblers!)

LINDA O'CONNEL

Board, Treasurer

Born and raised in Springfield, MO, and relocating to Tennessee in 1992, Linda has spent the past 30+ years helping borrowers navigate the financing maze to attaining home-ownership.  Her best-known work, however, stems from her role as President of the widely-acclaimed Christmas 4 Kids organization.  Working with over 600 volunteers, Linda takes hundreds of low-income elementary school children Christmas shopping each year for bicycles, toys and essentials they might otherwise never have.

Linda has great compassion for all the marginalized in society, always encouraging everyone she meets to love and support the less fortunate… especially children!
